This G-6 was Produced in 1965 and is in simply stunning order, but it doesn't stop there. It also contains the seldom seen 30c 8 wheel crane in turquoise, this colour variation is thought to be only ever found within the G-6 set. Very occasionally one of these turquoise 30c's comes to market, with a little research you can see they achieve a considerable amount on their own let alone as part of such an amazing set.

Matchbox 6c Euclid comes in yellow with 10 black plastic tyres, operating tipper mechanism & bright axles with two ends slightly tarnished. Several pin dots away from mint.
Matchbox 15c Tippax Refuse Collector comes in blue & grey with 6 black plastic tyres, operational tipper & rear tailgate, intact 'Cleansing Services' decals & bright axles with one end slightly tarnished. Just a minor rub or two away from mint.
Matchbox 16c Scammell Snow Plough comes in grey & orange with 6 black plastic tyres, intact red/white blade decal, operating tipper mechanism & bright untarnished axles. A couple of dots away from mint.
Matchbox 17d Foden Tipper comes n red & orange with 8 black plastic wheels, operational tipper mechanism, black 'Hoveringham' decals & untarnished axles. Just a dot or two away from mint.
Matchbox 26b Foden Cement Mixer comes in orange with orange barrel and 6 black plastic wheels & minor tarnishing to the axles. A dot & a rub are all to report.
Matchbox 30c 8 Wheel Crane comes in Turquoise with orange jib, intact yellow hook, 8 black plastic wheels, silver baseplate which form front bumper & operational crane. A minor dot or two.
Matchbox 58b Drott Excavator comes in red with silver base, black rollers, green tracks & operational scoop lift. Just a dot or two to report.
Matchbox 62b Commer Tv Service van comes in cream with 4 black plastic tyres, blue glazing, intact decals & a full sprue which includes ladder,3 tv's & aerial. A dot or two away from mint.
Box elements & insert:
The outer sleeve is in stunning condition with sharp day one vivid colours with virtually no wear whatsoever. Just a very minor crease to note which is very easily overlooked.
The base element again is in the same stunning order. Sharp colours with virtually no wear.
The fragile plastic insert is in beautiful order and quite a remarkable find with only one very small edge crack.
Very hard to find any better.
