The 'Meccano Dinky Toys' early version box is in in very nice shape. Strong colours, side contents description label dating the set to December 1934, exported to France stamp too making this a bit more unusual. Very subtle vertical seam repair, 'INSIDE' written on lid & only very light age wear besides

The (150 varieties) mottled pale blue card insert has a small portion removed for the under carriage of the Imperial airways plus a vertical section is missing.
