Dinky Toys 139 'South African' Ford Cortina Very Near Mint/Boxed

This 'South African' Cortina comes in stunning shade of emerald green with light brown interior. Well shaped treaded tyres, gleaming spun hubs, fresh matte  baseplate, South African rivets, intact clear glazing, lovely firm suspension & shiny metal parts . Very difficult to fault just a dot or two away from mint.

The Afrikaans 'Arthur E. Harris' box is not present but the standard 139 box is in good shape. Only some light edge/surface wear & a two small inner hinge nick splits is all to report. 

A quite remarkable model and so often lacking from the some of the worlds biggest collections.
