Dinky Meccano 62a Spitfire Fund Souvenir Pendant Near Mint/Boxed 1940/41

These pendants were produced in different colour variations to help the Spitfire fund from 1940/41.

This example comes in red with 4 roundels, a three bladed propeller, silver cockpit & pendant ring in place in the rear tail fin. Some light fatigue but the model is still very nicely intact 

The Souvenir box is in decent order with no repairs & only light age related edge wear to note.  

A very nice example of this hard to find item.
