French Dinky Toys No.60 Avions Gift Set (1935/1940)
The 60A Arc-en Ciel comes in gold & blue with 3 x two blade propellers. Only the most minor marks away from mint.
The 60B Potez 58 comes in deep yellow & grey with 1 x two bladed propeller.. Very close to mint.
The 60C Hanriot Type H180T comes in green & cream with 1 x two bladed propeller. Very close to mint.
The 60D Breguet Type Corsaire comes in dark red & green with 1 x two bladed propeller. Very close to mint.
The 60E Dewotine Type 500 comes in red & white one two bladed propellers. Odd little body mark.
The 60F Cierva Autogiro comes in silver/red with gold three bladed rotor. A couple of minor fatigue lines are visible, very close to mint.
The Avions 'Meccano Dinky Toys' 2nd type box is in excellent shape (complete with correct Avions side label). Two corners of the lid have some pieces of tape added to strengthen the corners, some light corner wear & an odd age related stain besides. These faults are really quite negligible as the box retains such vivid bright colours & looks superb.
The (150 varieties) pale blue card insert is also in excellent condition. Clean, bright & firm. The original model retaining string has perished over time and has been sympathetically replaced (expected on a set dating from 1935).
