Codegl No. 3746L Transporter & 8 cars:
The Honk Kong designers/manufactures at Codeg got their inspiration from two similar Norev/Politoy items in the 60s to come up with this fantastic toy. I know this is a bit of a left field item for website but non the less an impressive piece & well worthy to bring this seldom seen transporter set to the market place.
Models:
Transporter in lovely condition with blue tractor unit. Winders on the sides drop the top levels to allow cars to drive up, rear ramps work excellent, all pins and bars in place and unbroken. A really nice example of this hard to find item.
4 x Citroen DS19 No. 3362 2 x brown/burgundy & 2 x blue
All the DS19's are in lovely order with bright chrome, free running wheels, clear glazing & cream bases. Only the most minor flaw to report.
4 x Simca Chambord No. 3742a 2 x blue/grey & 2 x in brow/burgundy & cream
All the Simce Verdette's are in lovely order with bright chrome, free running wheels, clear glazing & cream bases. Only the most minor flaw to report.
The transporters friction motor is in working order, tested very carefully.
Box:
The lid style box has survived very well with bright colours, snug fitting lid & nice to find with no repairs. Some small areas of surface lift to one face & only light wear besides for this under engineered box.
