A seldom seen early Dinky aeroplane set and an even nicer find with it's correct presentation set leaflet. Wonderful!
Dinky Gift set 64 Aeroplane Set 1939/41

No. 60g D.H Comet G-ACSR comes in an aluminium finish with 2 x three blade propellers. Some very minor fatigue marks is all to report.
No. 62h Hawker Hurricane comes in shadow shaded camouflage, 2 roundels & 1 x two bladed propeller. A little rub and nick to the roundels is all to report.
No. 62k The King's Aeroplane G-AEXX comes in red/silver/blue with 2 x two bladed propellers. A very minor fatigue is all to report.
No. 62m Airspeed 'Envoy' Aeroplane G-ACVI comes in an aluminium finish with 2 x two bladed propellers. A very minor fatigue is all to report.
No. 62s Hawker 'Hurricane' comes in an aluminium finish, two intact roundels with 1 x two bladed propeller. Minor crazing is all to report.
No. 63b Seaplane 'Mercury' G-ADHJ comes in an aluminium finish with 4 x two bladed propellers. A very minor fatigue is all to report.
Box & insert
The November 1939 (10/39) base and lid are in decent order with no repairs, clear model/set specific script. Some minor fading, light age related handling wear & a some light staining are all to report for this 79 year old.
The model/set specific insert is in lovely order with what appears replacement string. The only thing to note is the addition of some pencilled numbers.
Comes with correct set specific leaflet.
