The year 1961 saw the release of a boxed set comprising all the four mounted Knights, and all but one of the dismounted Knights. Like all the Britains boxed sets, the layout of the contents was prone to change over the years, and according to the country of point of sale, but it seems fair to state that the "Attacking with Sword" figure (#1471) was usually the one omitted. Beyond any reasonable doubt, however, this was one of the greatest sets Britains ever produced, the Jewel in the Crown of their early 1960s range.

The distinctive blue and yellow window box, the set was numbered 7480, and is probably among the most sought-after collector's items in the world today. (This early example with the the Herald logo, latterly omitted altogether in favour of the Britains "B" badge.)

Superb condition, very close to old store stock quality.
